Curtain comes down on Legislature.com
We've been doing Legislature.com so long, we're not even sure when we started. The archives go back to 2002 and we streamed live for at least one year before that. But all good things must end and the just completed session will be our last. Every year for the past few, we've lost subscribers and the time has come to wrap things up. Your account, of course, remains in effect through the end of 2009. Sometime before the end of the year, we'll open our audio archives to the public.
Some of you have been subscribers since the very beginning and we can't fully express our appreciation for your support. Financial and moral. Only the most loyal stay with a paid service when there's a free alternative. Perhaps the Missouri House and Senate will begin archiving debate audio, but we have no knowledge of any such plans.
